Performing Arts

Ridgewood Symphony

A regional, all volunteer, intergenerational, orchestra located in Ridgewood, New Jersey.

 

Ridgewood Concert Band

The Ridgewood Concert Band was founded in 1983 to provide a serious performing outlet for many fine wind and percussion players living in and around Bergen County.

 

Pro Arte Chorale

Founded in 1964, the Pro Arte Chorale is now celebrating its 43rd season. Originally conceived as an all volunteer double chorus, the Chorale evolved to become one of the Northeast's most prominent choral organization performing works of many genres.

 

The Ridgewood Conservatory

The Ridgewood Conservatory offers private music lessons on brass, woodwinds, strings, piano and percussion; vocal performance for the operatic/concert stage and musical theater; Chamber Music, Jazz and Vocal Ensembles; Children's Chorus; Jazz Improvisation Workshops; and Theory and Musicianship, Composition and History classes for children and adults.

 

The Ridgewood Orpheus Club

Founded in 1909 by a group of six Ridgewood businessmen, Orpheus is the oldest civic musical organization in the Village of Ridgewood and one of the longest extant male choruses in the region.

 

Stage Right - A Musical Theatre Program

The Stage Right Mission is  to provide professional theater instruction to students in a nurturing environment, while developing a love for the performing arts.
 

Bergen County Players

A non-profit organization dedicated to enriching our community with quality theatrical productions for nearly 75 years. Our home is the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell, New Jersey

 

Ridgewood Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company

A non-profit organization performing full productions of the works of Gilbert and Sullivan on a regular schedule since its founding in 1937 by Kay and Jack Edson.

 

RHS Bands

The Ridgewood High School Band program consists of three curricular bands, two jazz ensembles, a marching band, winter guard and twirlers and various student-led small ensembles.
